What is the Process for Becoming a Foster?

To become a Foster, the first step is to complete a Foster Application.

Once your application has been reviewed, we will contact you to schedule a home visit by one of our Foster team members. The purpose of the home visit is to get to you and your home better so we can make the best possible decision about who to place with you. It’s important for the animal to feel safe and secure, and it’s important that you are comfortable having a new animal in your home.

After you have been approved, and signed our Foster Agreement, we will contact you when there is a fostering need. The choice to accept an animal is always yours and you always have the option to decline.

Fostering is one of most important life-saving things anyone can do to help with animal rescue. ANY assistance with fostering GREATLY helps CAAR meet its mission of rescuing animals.

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to contact us at Info@wncanimalrescue.org
